The Role:
We're hiring for a growth-minded product manager to define and own the buildout of bank services for the Bank team at SoFi. In this individual contributor role to manager role, you own the definition of bank services and the servicing layer that works with our member and feature teams. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle for servicing each individual feature that we bring onto the bank’s tech stack. This is a delivery-to-delivery-and-strategy role.
What you’ll do:
Lead the insourcing of internal bank functions as SoFi build its own bank stack.Communicate and engage across internal stakeholders with a service mentality. Our customer-facing product teams focus on delighting our customers; Our team focuses on delighting those product teams. Balance the future state of the bank product with near term opportunities and objectives to create customer and shareholder value. Be able to lead in a fast paced agile environment while declaring when it’s necessary to slow down and why. Define and drive KPIs that measure success for the how our team service’s the next generation of SoFi’s enterprise financial services. Work with our engineering team–your counterparts–in a service-first environment. Our engineers excel when they have a clear understanding of both the “why” and the “what” of what we are building. Operate with compassion and empathy.
What you’ll need:

• Successful experience leading experimentation and funnel optimization
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or a clear understanding of how your current path has led you to be the best candidate for this role
• 7-10+ years product management experience
• Demonstrated experience building, shipping and maintaining platforms that power consumer-facing products
• Superior communication skills, written and verbal, especially with engineering and other PMs
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on deadlines

Nice to haves:

• Passion for FinTech and helping people get their money right
• Deep understanding of Software as a Service (SAAS) and/or B2B2C products including delivering product iterations within sales cycles
• Direct PM experience in the employee benefits space
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

Compensation And Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
