Base Salary Range $110,200.00 - $137,800.00
Target Total Cash Range $148,770.00 - $186,030.00
Target Total Cash Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings. In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.

Description & Requirements
The Brand Manager- Strategy - Primal Kitchen is responsible for defining the short-term and long-term strategy and execution for the brand. Responsible for analysis- diligence- briefing and go-to-market strategy of the PK base and innovation projects.
This role works in partnership with Innovation- R&D and Sales to set the product strategy and with Marketing and Growth to define the success in market plan. This role reports to the Head of Commercial Strategy- Insights and Planning.
Responsibilities
  • Lead learning + validation journey in partnership with insights
  • Head execution of acceleration strategy by collaborating with a dedicated cross functional team (R&D- consumer insights- quality- legal- engineering- operations- sales- and finance) to take ideas from concepts to reality
  • Bring forth an agile- consumer-first mindset to day-to-day decisions- ensuring the integrity of the brand remains protected while balancing financial and operational considerations
  • Partner with Finance to assess P&L and business impact of proposed acceleration strategy.
  • Leverage syndicated data sources to understand own and competitor performance- bringing forth insights and recommendations to integrate into overall strategy to drive business impact
  • Manage any agency relationships related to the strategic acceleration plan
  • Determine financial viability- operational feasibility- and strategic fit of brand acceleration activities.
  • Development of strategic overviews to aid in sell-in of projects with both internal and external partners
  • Support the creation and validation of brand acceleration strategies that are rooted in significant consumer + product insights
  • Provide consistent updates to senior leaderships on project progression while also gaining alignment to next steps/tradeoffs
  • Partner with Innovation & R&D to assess product changes/development including any needed consumer validation of the product

Qualifications

  • Experience with at least one of the following databases Nielsen- IRI- or SPINS
  • 5+ years in related fields in the CPG industry category management- brand management preferred
  • Excellent leadership skills- operates independently and motivated by success
  • Agile mindset to drive forth decision making + implementation in needed timings
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving decisions via strong- data led stories
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
