Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain & construct proprietary Fund financial models;
  • Assist in the preparation of property investment memorandums & financial underwriting;
  • Prepare, distribute & ensure adherence to critical deadlines for fund & investor reporting;
  • Investment performance & financial analyses for portfolio assets & new investments;
  • Prepare Fund overview decks, analyses & memorandums for senior management & investors
  • Candidate will interact closely with a variety of functional teams including portfolio finance, asset management, acquisitions/development, research & marketing/client service
  • Primary responsibilities will include assisting the portfolio management team of a a large U.S. residential real estate fund with implementing the Fund's investment strategy, financial modeling, client reporting & presentations, fund performance & benchmark analyses, property valuation analyses & special projects.

Qualifications:

  • High proficiency in property cash flow mechanics, investment analysis and equity/debt considerations
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Work & PowerPoint; Argus experience
  • Strong writing & financial analysis skills; high competency in preparing & delivering memorandums, analytical reports & data charts
  • 3-5 years of experience in a real estate, finance or related-business position, 1-2 years of experience if candidate has completed MBA or masters degree in a business-related field
  • Undergraduate degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
