Job Description
City View ISD police department is currently seeking applicants for the position of school resource officer. The applicant should be able to get along well with students and staff, and work diligently to create a safe school environment. Officer will receive competitive pay DOQ and experience. Officer must be a certified Texas peace officer and hold as a minimum Basic Texas peace officer license. College degree preferred, but not a prerequisite for the position. Officer will receive training in school based law enforcement. Officer will work a 187 day contract with appropriate leave time (holidays, spring break, summer). Officer will be required to patrol both campuses, and must have good knowledge of laws of arrest and juvenile justice. The City View ISD police department utilizes Restorative Policing tactics.
