The Gunter Police Department is a law enforcement and public safety agency that provides emergency services 24/7. We are committed to protecting all community members through crime prevention and investigation. The department is focused on building positive relationships within the community through patrol and community events.


Role Description

This is a full-time position for a Police Officer at the Gunter Police Department in Gunter, TX. The Police Officer will respond to calls for service, conduct criminal investigations, collect and preserve evidence, and maintain public order and safety. The Police Officer will also work closely with other members of the department to maintain community relations and prevent criminal activity.


Qualifications

  • Experience as a Police Officer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques and evidence collection procedures
  • Ability to maintain public order and safety
  • Must have a valid TCOLE license
  • Physical fitness and agility
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
