Pilot Sic Jobs

• The SIC is accountable to the Chief Pilot for the safe and proper conduct of assigned duties
• Check doors, windows for security, airframe for signs of leaks, other anomalies
• May carry out take-offs and landings under the authority of the PIC
• Read checklists and perform other cockpit duties as assigned by the PIC
• Champion the OneSky culture and fundamental principles
• Make appropriate callouts of altitude, heading, airspeed, time, distance, course, etc.
• Handle charts, publications, and equipment
• Assist the Pilot in Command (PIC) in the management of the flight and flying the aircraft in accordance with the directions of the PIC
• Make passengers comfortable, and keep them informed during an emergency
• Always maintain a professional appearance and bearing
• Properly load passengers and baggage and assist with their exit
• Communicate with Flight Operations, Chief Pilot, and Director of Operations regarding scheduling, assigned flights, and flight following notifications
• Employ navigation and radio communications equipment as necessary
• Maintain constant vigilance for other aircraft
• Conduct passenger briefings
• Prepare the aircraft for flight by checking maintenance service, catering, and cleanliness

• 1500hr in category
• 50 hrs. in specific type and model
• First Class Medical Certificate
• 50 hrs. IFR time logged
• No FAA sanctions with in the last 5 years.
• Commercial Pilot certificate with rotorcraft/helicopter and instrument rating
• Meet the recency experience requirement defined by CFR part 61

Those pilots coming from a military background will be considered with the equivalent military experiences to 135 experiences.

Pilots should be well rounded and able to thrive in the crew environment. Pilots will be expected to work in both large and small group setting and be willing to use their skills to advance the objective of the company as well as themselves.
