The Pod Photography is a boutique photo studio in Culver City specializing in babies, kids, maternity and family portraits.As the top portrait studio in Los Angeles for over a decade, we pride ourselves on our custom set design, innovative photography style the personalized, luxury experience we give our clients. We are a small team of passionate creatives: two photographers, re-toucher and photo editor. It is our goal to have fun, be inspired and create memorable artwork for families every day.

Job description:

We are looking for a person to assist our photographers during photo shoots, edit images and assist in the daily tasks of the studio. We are currently looking for someone Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am –5pm, but expect this to turn into a more hours over the holidays and in 2024. Our ideal person enjoys children and getting them to smile in photos and has a friendly, customer service service-oriented personality.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

·Assistant for in-studio photo sessions

·Edit client images in Adobe Lightroom

·Create client wall art and holiday card samples

·Answer phones, reply to emails and other miscellaneous office duties

·Setting up, styling and breaking down the studio for photo sessions

·Greeting clients and customer service

Qualifications:

·Must enjoy being around children and families

·Entry-level knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop

·Detail oriented and able to thrive in a deadline driven environment

·Great customer service/phone skills and email etiquette

·Positive and team player

Compensation:

$20/hour
