Photography Assistant Jobs

Overview

HGA is in search of an energetic, detail-oriented Photography Assistant who will support the marketing team with planning, executing, and tracking project photography and other marketing activities to persuade target audiences and drive engagement with HGA’s brand. This position will work closely with Photography Manager, Marketing Managers, marketing teams, our communications team, and consultants. Working across locations and departments, this position helps strengthen our identity and drive our growth through project photography to support our regional and national presence. Your work enables clear and effective flow of communications, information and materials between marketing department and internal stakeholders. You’ll be facilitating communication with outside vendor resources, all while working effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

In This Role You Will

• Manage the coordination of project photography and staff headshots including contracts with professional photographers;
• Develop solid working relationship and function as a trusted advisor and point of contact with the internal project team and client;
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities; and
• Provide support for photography, being onsite for photoshoots throughout the year, managing models for photoshoots across our offices;
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
• Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing activities such as national award submittals, corporate store, conference/event swag;
• Create production schedules for each project, including establishing final deliverable deadlines and coordinating all review/approval meetings with key stakeholders;
• Assist with upload and maintenance of digital assets. Photos, Renderings, and Plans in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM);

You Will Need To Have

• Working knowledge of multiple digital asset types and formats (graphics, photography, video document files.)‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
• Strong graphic capabilities.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision/VantagePoint, Adobe Experience Manager and WordPress a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong file management that preserves information and materials in a consistent manner.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• ‪Excellent client-facing skills including written and verbal communication.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
• Experience in a photography studio or retail advertising, marketing, or creative environment would be an advantage.

Technical

• A basic knowledge of creative programs. (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Proficient with photo editing software including Adobe Photoshop.

Salary Information

The pay ranges listed align to the geography of the following offices: Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Franscisco, San Jose, and Minneapolis. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs.

Minneapolis - Hourly range: $28.46 - $30.77

Los Angeles - Hourly range: $33.37 - $36.06

Sacramento - Hourly range: $28.99 - $31.35

San Jose & San Franscisco - Hourly range: $35.87 - $38.75
