Phd Positions At Gilab

Prof. Faroughi is seeking a motivated and talented PhD student to join his research group (GILab) in Spring 2024. GILab specializes in utilizing advanced physics and data analysis techniques to address the dual challenge of energy and the environment.

Position Descriptions:

• A fully funded PhD position that focuses on subsurface carbon and hydrogen storage. Candidates who have a keen interest in geo-energy systems, multiphase flow, pore-scale modelling, and deep learning are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Completion of a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field within the past 4 years.
• Cumulative GPA of at least a 3.5 is required.
