Kolter Solutions is seeking a Sales Consultant.
Location: Remote
*PBM experience highly preferred*
Summary
The Sales Consultant (SC) supports the Company's Growth team in achieving goals for new and existing client expansion, financial performance, and market development. The SC assists with internal actives associated with the sales process and will also provide support for meetings with clients, consultants, and external partners. In an effort to shorten the Company's sales cycle, and ensure timely go-live, the SC will support prospect qualification, capability meetings, and ultimately participate in proposal development and drive installation activity. This is a remote position with up to 10% travel required. The ideal candidate will possess client or sales experience in the PBM or digital health industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage in the development of reporting outputs which inform Sales, Company and Enterprise leadership regarding strategy adherence, product sales vs. projections, and other measures as requested
- Prospect follow up as required for clarification and as directed by the sales lead
- Scheduling virtual and face to face pre-RFP meetings, including presenter prep sessions
- Participate in the development of Requests for Proposals (RFP's) responses to ensure that the Company produces a "best in class” response
- Support/participate in the development of prospect-specific sales strategy
- External communication of go/no-go decision
- Qualify prospects, including documentation of opportunity, product requirements, go-live expectations, and collection of competitive intelligence
- Development of assessment protocol, including the communication of minimum data requirements necessary for advancement
- Monitor proposal progress and assist in follow up with subject matter experts to enhance responses
- Management of internal qualification meeting held between Company's Sales, Sales and Company's Leadership, Underwriting and Proposal teams
- Assist with follow ups and post-sale coordination of implementation kick off meeting to ensure successful go-live.
- Partner with sales leadership to develop materials required for prospect site-visits, including pre-meeting documentation such as the Run of Show and RFP Strategy Documentation
- Daily management of the Company's Sales Mailbox, including outreach to prospects to ensure clarity on the opportunity

Education and Experience
- Experience interpreting financial data is preferred.
- Client-facing presentation experience welcome, but not required. Must be open to learning and meeting with clients.
- 3+ years of project management, sales and/or account management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the medical, PBM and pharmacy industry, underwriting process, pricing, medical and pharmacy terminology, pharmacy claim, and managed care principles and practices is desired, or extensive knowledge in a complementally field.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and negotiating definitions, terms and complex content
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
- Requires ongoing learning in the pharmacy benefit management industry and continuous product knowledge development in the areas of healthcare, pharmacy and PBM, company specific product offerings, pricing components, and company capabilities and limitations.
