Responsibilities
- Maintains an understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Performs benefits administration (Medical/Dental enrollments and changes, FMLA tracking and reporting, Workers’ Compensation, etc.)
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Processes all new hires (Onboarding), terminations (Offboarding), and employee change requests.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering process.
- Review existing training materials to determine appropriateness and relevance.
- Maintain accurate records of operations activities.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance.
- Administer leave programs, including FMLA, WC, and STD.
- Modifies or creates course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs.
- Determines training needs and requirements for an organization or group by meeting with managers and organizations.
- Specializes in a particular industry and keeps current on the activities and needs of that industry by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars.
- Works with the training team to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments.
- Monitors training programs and manuals to ensure they are practical and up-to-date and makes updates as necessary.
- Support employees on fundamental employee relations questions and inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
- Provide support to other departments as needed.
- Oversees training programs that include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos, and more.
- Consult with management, providing HR guidance as needed.

Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in People (HR) or Training
• Extensive knowledge of teaching theory for creating effective instructional materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
• Instructional experience in a group business/non-profit setting
• Proficient in using Microsoft Suite
• Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service/training
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments.
• Experience developing yearly training plans and materials.
• Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
