P&C Electrical Designer (Remote)

• Contribute on project meetings
• Create thorough drawing markups, reports, correspondence, and project documentation
• Process material requests with the aid of a designer
• Continuous improvement of job-related engineering, technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance
• Develop substation P&C design package for relay upgrade projects. Includes: control elementary, one-line diagrams, current and potential schematics, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, billing of material, panel views, point assignment sheets etc.

• 2+ years in electrical engineering theories and principles
• 3+ years of relevant P&C design experience in substations

• Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Advanced user of Microsoft products, specifically Excel, Word, and/or Access
• Ability to work remotely without supervision
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to plan and manage assignments and clearly communicate barriers to completion of tasks on budget/schedule
