React Web Developer (Fully Remote)

Outstanding software development is a keystone to our success and we are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Software Engineer with expertise in React Web Development to join the DCI family and play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise software solutions.

As a DCI Front End Software Engineer, you will:

• Write maintainable, easily understandable software for use by developers of varying skill levels and which are easily configurable by maintenance and operations personnel
• Make use of internal resources such as Project Management and Business Analysts to ensure project success
• Analyze requirements then disseminate, articulate, and design solutions
• Adhere to the principles of Scrum and agile development; Effectively communicate issues, design and other matters with Product Owner and Scrum Master
• Troubleshoot, debug, enhance, and maintain existing software in various languages including TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, SQL Server, CSS, and HTML; occasionally after-hours when major technical issues arise
• Write SQL to facilitate data access and persistence
• Utilize popular frameworks such as React, Spring MVC, Bootstrap, jQuery
• Create website layout and user interfaces by using standard web technologies and practices; work alongside UI/UX designers to match visual design intent
• Perform maintenance for any bugs and develop new features as requested
• Complete assigned stories by the given deadlines
• Create Restful API methods backed by Java service, data access objects, and row mapper classes
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code based on specifications; create comprehensive solutions to technical problems
• Write Java and Typescript based unit tests for assigned user stories
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting; summarizing complex technical issues in a way that non-subject matter experts can understand

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have/be:

• Have a high level of mastery with React
• SQL Server or another SQL DBMS
• At least three (3) years of professional software development experience
• HTML
• Object oriented programming with TypeScript or JavaScript (highly preferred)
• Spring
• Integrating with RESTful APIs
• CSS
• Comfortable or proficient with:
