Autocad Designer Jobs

Description

This company is currently looking for a CAD drafter/designer to join their team in West Palm Beach. This person will provide AutoCAD Civil 3D support for new landfill design, landfill expansions, landfill redevelopment, and some environmental remediation projects, both private and municipal. Work will include performing mark-ups and preparation of figures and drawing sets.

Duties

• Prepare well boring logs from field notes
• Apply and follow appropriate CAD standards and best practices
• Perform volume calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Performs drafting, detailing, and graphics layout with limited supervision.
• Support all aspects of drafting or CADD under the supervision of the lead professional
• Prepare site plan layout from existing maps or tracings, corrections to existing drawings, etc.
• Prepare construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D

Qualifications

• Must be team-focused, independent and be able to complete tasks and projects from management.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing required
• Must have experience preparing plan views and profile views, cutting cross-sections, grading, and calculation of volumes.
• 2+ years of experience in civil and site grading experience required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required
• 5+ years of experience in drafting or graphics required
