Description


The Payroll Administrator is responsible for assisting and providing support to the Sr. Payroll Analyst with accurate preparation, documentation and reconciliation of company payroll using UKG Ready Payroll system, in addition to assisting with the administration of the Equity Management System (Certent) and providing support in general.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting up new states / local sites as needed.
  • Support the company’s auditors on recurring quarterly basis.
  • Ensure that all annual tax forms for share-based compensation are prepared accurately and timely.
  • Review and monitor timecard entries to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley control, company policies and federal and state labor laws.
  • Maintain company’s good standing with multi state and local jurisdictions.

  • Partner with HR to ensure new hires, terminations, pay changes, leave of absence (LOA), bonuses. Etc. are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining the database of employee stock options and other share-based compensation by processing relevant documents (e.g., RSU awards, etc.)
  • Assist in Administering company payroll on a Bi-weekly basis.
  • Provide superior customer service to employees with payroll related inquiries


Education and Qualification:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
  • Proven ability to operate and administer various software applications as needed.
  • At least five (5) years of previous payroll experience.
  • Must have UKG Ready experience.
  • Previous experience with stock options and equity plans and share base-based compensation preferred.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of payroll administration.
