Intake Coordinator Opportunity – Bachelor’s Level
The Intake Coordinator is a vital part of Arbour House Treatment Centre’s clinical operations team. This is a full time, Monday – Friday, 40 hour per week position.
Arbour House Treatment Centre is an important community resource for a wide range of vital behavioral healthcare services. We treat primary psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and constantly strive to meet the needs of our communities with treatment that address individualized behavioral health needs. At Arbour House Treatment Centre, we work diligently and compassionately to provide patients and their families with high-quality care and service excellence across a continuum of specialized behavioral health services. We have proudly served the residents of the greater Boston area since 1909. Our medical staff consists of psychiatrists who average 20 years of practice at our facility, providing a solid and trusted foundation for our patient-focused approach to behavioral healthcare. We stand ready to provide compassionate care through inpatient treatment and a strong continuum of aftercare services, community-based programs, and day treatment.

Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient and effective calling processing to coordinate patient admissions
Work collaboratively in the centralized call center responding to inpatient, partial hospital, and outpatient referral requests
Process demographic and clinical information
Ensure verification of insurance eligibility and benefits
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or another human services related field (3 years prior hospital intake call center experience + High School Diploma may be substituted for a bachelor's degree)
Ability to multitask and work in a very fast paced environment
Preferred prior intake call center experience and/or insurance verification experience
