Job Title: Intake Coordinator

BALANCE eating disorder treatment center, a premium treatment center in Manhattan, is seeking a highly motivated, passionate Lead Program Therapist to join our expanding team!

The Position

The Intake Coordinator is the first point of contact for a person, or a person of a loved one, seeking eating disorder treatment. Coordinators will create relationships with these individuals and provide resources and support as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule Initial Intake assessment.

• Follow up on inquiries, incoming calls, Acuities, and emails from clients and provide them with information about our programs, groups, individual services, webinars, and free support groups as needed.

• Input client information into a database, and active campaign, and ensure the information is accurate and up to date.

• Assist Admission Director and admissions team with projects as needed.

• Second staff Free Support Group and webinars as needed.

• Conduct meal supports.

• Conduct Pre-Admissions Consults.

Who You Are:

• Experience required in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Field, etc.

• Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Exceptional customer service skills; good listener, excellent follow-up and follow-through, and willing to support and help others.

• Diligent, efficient, motivated, extremely well organized, and proactive.

• A positive ‘can-do!’ attitude.

• Must be a great communicator and a team player with a passion for Eating Disorders!

• Previous experience working in the mental health field and /or eating disorders is a plus.
