A Dental Receptionist is in charge of managing communication between patients, family members, care providers and other healthcare institutions. Their duties include scheduling appointments with Doctors, providing referrals to new care providers and teaching patients about their health issues.

• Maintain the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere upon their arrival.
• Efficiently manage and schedule appointments using our office software system. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information to patients regarding procedures and treatments
• Verify and update patient information.
• Collect and process payments, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless flow of patients, maintaining a balanced schedule.

• Outstanding customer service skills and ability to provide a positive patient experience.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• People skills to connect emotionally with patients and health care personnel
• Proficient computer skills and experience using dental office software systems.
• Strong verbal communication skills to communicate with patients and the health care team
• Previous experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and dental software systems can be advantageous.
