Part-Time Event Support Jobs

SBD Tournaments provides temporary opportunities for sports management or event management degree candidates or those who are looking for a little extra income.
This is an entry level event staff position. This position reports to the Operations/Site Director.
Work schedule: 20-30 hours per event weekend, and earn $150-$200 per day.
This position is a contracted position per event Event pay is based on location of event and type of event. All event travel expenses are reimbursed or covered.
Event Operations

• Ensure games stay on schedule
• Collects and reports game scores to HQ
• Oversees set number of event fields
• Other duties as assigned
• Interacts with coaches, team managers and assist with any questions they may have
• Maintain visibility around fields and ensure event runs smoothly
• Reports any medical needs to AT on site

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and equipment
• Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work weekends
• Creative problem solving
• Ability to travel
