JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
University Health Services seeks to hire a part-time Accounting Assistant.
Position responsibilities to include answering customer calls, entry of financial records into Penn State’s financial system (SIMBA), performing financial reconciliation, updating customer accounts, and other tasks as assigned. The position hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with one hour for lunch, three days per week up to a maximum of 24 hours per week.
Competencies include but are not limited to: attention to detail and accuracy, competent in Excel, time management, positive attitude, like to work as part of a team, and excellent customer service skills.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
