Job Overview:

As a Program Manager specializing in Zoos and Aquariums, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with renowned zoological institutions throughout the US. Your dedication to growth strategy, exceptional communication skills, and ability to build relationships will be key assets in creating successful collaborations.


Responsibilities:

  1. Partnership Development: Identify, approach, and engage with potential zoo and aquarium partners in alignment with our mission and values. Initiate conversations, conduct presentations, and negotiate partnership terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  2. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with existing partner organizations, serving as the main point of contact. Proactively address partner needs, inquiries, and concerns to maintain positive long-term relationships.
  3. Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with legal and internal teams to draft and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  4. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for expanding partnerships with zoos and aquariums. Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to maximize growth potential.
  5. Marketing and Promotion: Coordinate marketing efforts with partners to maximize the reach and impact of collaborative initiatives. Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute joint campaigns and events.
  6. Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the success of partnership programs against predefined KPIs. Prepare regular reports detailing the effectiveness and ROI of partnerships.
  7. Attend Conferences and Events: Represent our company at relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and events to network and identify potential partnership opportunities.
  8. Budget Management: Work with the finance department to develop and manage budgets for partnership initiatives effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Strong passion for wildlife conservation and environmental issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in business development, account management, or partnership management, preferably in the zoos and aquariums industry or related fields (theme parks, golf, outdoor advertising).
  • Negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet with partners across the US.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
