Tesla offers a robust Parking and Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure. Parking and charging are available 24/7, we have over 6,000 parking stalls across all our Tesla Bay Area sites. The Parking and Valet Operation Specialist is responsible for monitoring our Parking, Valet Parking and Electric Vehicle charging operations. The Operation Specialist works closely with the Transportation Manager and is a crucial part of the Workplace Transportation Team.

What You’ll Do

• Ability to make decisions based on the scope and communicate them effectively to multiple vendors
• Other assignments as required
• Effectively communicate changes and needs to all stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor performance using our preferred Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Work closely with other teams from Tesla pertaining to requests, projects and needs
• Monitor the daily activities of our Parking Vendor and adherence to standard operating procedures
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding Parking, Valet Parking and Electric Vehicle charging
• Help deliver parking notifications and alerts to employees using multiple communication channels
• Manage vendors and suppliers to ensure safe, timely performance of the Parking and Valet program

What You’ll Bring

• Perform effectively in a team dynamic, as well as individually
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• CDL preferred but not required
• Previous experience overseeing Parking and Valet operations
• Proven ability to identify trends, develop strategies and implement solutions to drive results
• Excellent organization and time management/multi-tasking skills demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of project
• 3+ years of experience in Parking, Valet or Transportation operations
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Expected Compensation
$64,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
