Cash Handling Experience 1+ years

Direct patrons where to park and assist when spaces are full.

Collect payment either through cash, credit card or validation always securing cash according to the company’s standard operating procedures.

Maintain an atmosphere of pleasant hospitality including clear communication with guests, staff and management.

Must possess basic math skills, good telephone etiquette, good handwriting skills, work well under pressure and be detail oriented.

Proficient Microsoft word and excel knowledge

Answer telephone in a timely manner, following proper telephone etiquette and readily answering any questions courteously.

Monitor the entrances/exits of all parking lots via Parking software.

Answer questions from patrons, vendors, members, staff.

Skills, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

Ensures that appropriate service standards are maintained with all front-line staff.

Ensures that visitor issues are resolved to meet the service expectations of UC San Diego Health.

Must have a valid CA driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Must be able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Must be willing to work various times and locations based on business needs.

Other tasks as requested by management team

Providing directions and event support, and transacting applicable parking fees

Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests service needs

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property

Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities

Customer service experience, demonstrating a friendly and helpful demeanor.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Ability to handle fast-paced and sometimes stressful situations.

Safely park and retrieve vehicles in designated parking areas.
