Job Description
L'Auberge Carmel is a full-service Relais and Châteaux property located in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea just blocks from the famed Carmel Beach. Originally built in 1929, the historic hotel is known for its graceful architecture, personalized guest services, European style, and elegance.

We are currently hiring for full-time Bellmen/Valet to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage.
  • Pick up and drop off guests at the airport and drive guests to various destinations in the company car.
  • Greet and escort guests to rooms.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property.
  • Valet guest vehicles
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
  • Identify and explain room features to guests
  • Supply guests with directions
  • Transport guest luggage to and from the hotel lobby
  • Assist with room service

Requirements include but are not limited to the following:
  • Outgoing personality and friendly demeanor
  • Previous experience working in an upscale hotel
  • Willing to work in any department to serve our guests.
  • Valid CA Driver's License, clean driving record

Valid driver's license is required.
Background checks will be run for driving records.
