Position Description


We are hiring our first Growth Team member in-house who will be responsible for initially helping us manage our paid media efforts across Google, Facebook, shopping ads, and beyond. They will get access to a network of industry experts for thought leadership and mentorship and will report and work directly with the CEO.


The short-term expectation is for the Paid Media manager to own all of Ensō's paid media efforts. The mid-term expectation is for them to eventually build out our internal Paid Media team and grow it into a powerhouse. The long-term expectation - though not a requirement – is that they will eventually grow into a broader Growth position within the company, absorbing and overseeing other growth practice areas as well.


What You'll Do

  • Continuously obsess over performance data and best practices.
  • Own paid media across all different platforms and channels, from conception to execution.
  • Create the company's Paid Media playbook, live by it, and constantly question it.
  • Proactively discover and test additional paid media growth opportunities.
  • Drive experiments and further optimizations.
  • Get a deeper understanding of the company's current growth efforts.

What You'll Bring

  • Technical and/or analytical background.
  • Experience working with fast-paced start-ups.
  • Experience in DTC/e-commerce startups is a plus.
  • 2+ years of hands-on paid media experience, especially Adwords and Facebook.


What to Expect

  • By the end of 60 days, we expect you to shadow and work directly with our current Paid Media manager to define our strategy while driving execution collaboratively.
  • By the end of 30 days, we expect you to fearlessly learn all about our business landscape, current setup, strategy, and best practices directly from our current Paid Media Manager (who is a rockstar!).
  • By the end of 90 days, we expect you to fully own strategy and execution across all of our paid media channels, becoming independent from our current Paid Media Manager (who will still be available for high-level support and mentorship, just transitioning to a new role eventually).


Time Commitment

This role is for a full-time employee who will need at least 6 hours/day of overlap with US ET to communicate with our CEO and key stakeholders.
