Packaging Machine Operator Jobs

As a Manufacturing Packaging Machine Operator, you will help prepare world-class products for shipment in Kellogg Company’s state-of-the-art baking and production facilities. you’ll work in a great environment at one of or many Kellogg plants around the world – our Zanesville Plant. We offer Gr-r-reat benefits: The starting pay is $19.00 with full benefits on Day 1. As well as 84 hours of PTO and 401k. We offer 12-hour shifts starting at 6am or 6pm. We also require to be able to work on alternating weekends as well if needed. We’re a company that can nourish your career as well as your appetite.

The team you’ll be joining prides themselves on not just keeping pace but setting it. You will be responsible for preparing our finished products in accordance with prescribed packaging procedures. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Managing Machine Performance – Ensure machines are stocked and working at full capacity. As a meticulous worker, you’ll take care to keep our machines well-maintained as you perform periodic checks while inspecting products.
• Following Best Practices – Adhere to good manufacturing practices as you prepare equipment for production. You’ll use all the right safety precautions as you support our efforts to create better mornings and better breakfasts for our consumers.
• Operating Machinery – Work with computer-controlled equipment or mechanically-based machines. Your talent for all things technical will ensure they are set up properly, working well and producing quality products.
• Packing with Care – You’ll take particular care in high-quality packing of finished goods. We want to see your passion for precision and vision for success!

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions verbal and written
• Physically must be able to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above the waist at a maximum of fifty pounds
• Demonstrate ability to operate machinery; mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Understanding of basic math to solve problem, great multi-tasker to complete tasks and detail-oriented
• Must be flexible with work schedule as well as overtime and holidays
