Machine Operator/Grinder Operator

Acloche is seeking a driven individual for a Grinder Operator.

• Hours, 3rd shift - 11 pm-7 am (may train on 2nd shift)
• Rate - $16 hourly; when hired, will receive a $2 increase.

Job Responsibilities

The position will consist of working on a line and feeding machined parts through a finishing machine, ensuring the items are free of burrs and other materials. There is nothing heavier than 35 lbs, and the position does require excellent attention to detail.

An operator is required to operate multiple machines set side-by-side or across from one another to maximize output while being safety conscious. This requires attention to detail, standing, twisting, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and moving at least 8.0 hours per day.

Skills To Perform The Job

• Able to repeatedly lift 5 to 40 pounds
• Basic mathematical ability (add, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Able to maintain and balance numerous job changeovers and set-ups while meeting or exceeding established productivity and quality goals
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Work independently and with a team
