Packaging Designer Jobs

Rate: 30- 35 per hour

Status: Part-time project based

Fully Remote

The Junior/Mid-level Packaging Graphic Designer will create artwork for simple packaging design for a Millennial focused beauty brand .

• Strong knowledge of beauty trends to create thumb stopping art for packaging

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, including plastic and glass component production

• Knowledge of printing techniques on primary and secondary cartons

• Maintain harmonized packaging design principles.

• Drive timely development of high quality, innovative packages based on customer requirements, manufacturability, wall space, and marketing objectives.

SKILLS:

• Package development experience, preferably in beauty

• Strong and refined typography skills

• Technical knowledge in beauty packaging a plus

• Extensive experience working with design, packaging developers, engineers and vendors

• Ability to think quickly and offer manufacturing solutions in real time

• Understanding of beauty manufacturing and materials; plastics and glass molding etc.

• Ability to meet stringent deadlines, quickly managing changing priorities

• Superior organizational and communications skills

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years experience in a high volume, deadline-driven environment: fashion and technology industry experience.

• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, deadline driven.

• Experience working with in-house digital teams, and/or E-Commerce.

• Comfortable working in a collaborative manner and a highly creative out-of-the-box thinker

• Knowledge of computer programs including: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop

• Current on fashion, beauty, design and digital trends
