The Role


As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking an Organization and Development Partner who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with a highly dynamic team on a transformational journey.


This position can sit onsite in Raritan, NJ, Rochester, NY, or San Diego, CA. We will also consider a fully remote setup.


The Responsibilities


  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Engages with third party-resources, vendors, and partners to roll out innovative talent development models.
  • Provide solutions that enhance the user experience in performance management, talent review discussions, succession planning, development, and workforce planning.
  • Design and deliver effective learning experiences grounded in research-based principles. Create engaging and active learning experiences and develop courses and programs applying adult learning theory and integrating emerging technologies.
  • Ensure Inclusion & Diversity is woven into every aspect of our learning and development curriculum and employee journey.
  • Contribute to the design, development, deployment, and evaluation of global talent management programs that foster personalized growth and continuous learning for employees.
  • Drive the execution of global initiatives in talent management, learning & development, and organizational development in alignment with our Global P&C purpose and talent strategy.
  • Develop trust as an advisor to business leaders and HR business partners on talent-related matters and strategic initiatives by generating solutions and innovative ideas and approaches. Actively seek opportunities to think outside the box and drive continuous improvement.
  • Track learning and performance metrics and outcomes, analyze data and trends, and make recommendations to adjust the learning strategy and design as necessary.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to achieve a balance between learning initiatives and other approaches to ensure seamless integration and foster organizational capability growth.


The Individual


Required Skills


  • Demonstrated experience in Instructional Design with 3+ years' experience in needs assessment, content design and development, facilitation, and program evaluation methodologies. Prior experience in designing leadership development and employee learning solutions in an organizational setting.
  • Bachelor’s in business and/or human resources related discipline required; Masters in OD, Organizational Psychology, HR or business preferred.
  • Demonstrated prior experience as a proven Organization and Talent Development professional.
  • Proven cultural change agent, with ability to challenge the status quo and develop creative solutions to global business challenges.
  • Demonstrate a bias-for-action, with a track record of proactively consulting with senior leadership within an organization to build long-range HR solutions and strategies.
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a thoughtful, critical thinker, proactive decision-maker and able to lead with curiosity, candor, and care.


The Work Environment


  • The work environment characteristics are representative of an office environment.
  • This position includes 40-50% travel.


Salary Transparency


The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $99,000 to $198,000 and is bonus eligible. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
