Job Description

Company Description

Duetti was founded in 2022 with the mission of providing independent music artists with new financial alternatives. Our unique model unlocks immediate cash flow for a wide range of artists, allowing them to sell master catalogs, individual tracks, or even parts thereof, an opportunity previously only accessible to a small group of A-list artists.

We deploy a highly scalable data-centered approach to our catalog pricing and management, using innovative prediction and risk assessment methodologies, alongside cutting-edge optimization tactics.

Duetti was founded by Lior Tibon, former COO of TIDAL, and Christopher Nolte, former Business Development executive at Apple Music. We publicly launched in May 2023 with $32m of funding from Viola Ventures and Viola Credit, Roc Nation, and other top tier VCs. Untitled and Presight Capital. Duetti provided funding for over 60 independent artists, with up to $400,000 per deal.

We have offices in New York City, Los Angeles and Miami. We offer a competitive benefit package including healthcare coverage (medical, vision and dental insurance) and flexible paid time off and paid sick leave policy. We currently operate a hybrid work model with a minimum of three set days a week in office in one of our three locations.

Join us as we embark on this transformative journey reshaping the financial landscape for artists. We offer an inspiring and familial yet ambitious work environment, where your expertise and creativity will contribute to reshaping the future of artist monetization and have an immediate tangible impact on artists’ lives.

As Optimization Analyst, your goal is to find new ways to improve the performance of Duetti’s song catalog. You will research, plan and coordinate the execution of new innovative strategies on platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, and TikTok to improve the performance of Duetti’s song catalog on music streaming platforms, alongside other revenue generating opportunities.

You will concentrate on deploying scalable and adaptive strategies for the dynamic music market, driven by forensic insights and estimates built on the basis of Duetti’s proprietary data models. You will explore a wide variety of optimization approaches - such as organic and paid media campaigns, playlist and other placements, influencer marketing and other social media opportunities - and build sophisticated frameworks to apply those to owned tracks, while heavily relying on operational and financial analysis and forecasts. You will “hack” the most efficient execution paths for each strategy, utilizing various internal and external resources.

You will:

  • Develop an extensive understanding of single-track marketing practices, by conducting research and interacting with a wide multitude of market participants, while adapting those to the specific attributes of tracks owned or are of interest to Duetti.

  • Lead the execution, monitoring and adaptations of various optimization strategies by deploying various internal and external resources.

  • Collaborate with our broader team (including our co-founders and the Platform team, as well as various external partners) in thinking through the appropriate data sources, analytical models and tracking and forecasting tools in order to identify, execute and monitor optimization strategies for individual tracks.

  • Design and measure experiments quickly in an iterative fashion.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience ideally in product growth, product management or growth marketing role; other experience of management consulting or similar will also be considered.

  • Extensive knowledge of digital platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, and Apple Music. Experience creating content and building paid and organic audiences are a plus.

  • Ability to build testing frameworks, analyze raw data, and derive key insights in a dynamic work environment.

  • Proven attention to detail, strong work ethic and enthusiasm of working in an early stage start-up environment which requires “self starters” and problem solvers
