Ops Transformation Business Analyst

• The key skillsets for candidates are going to be having strong examples of problem-solving experience with unstructured problems and focus working in operational lines of business typical of a large bank.
• This group is responsible for closing down entire offices and relocating their resources to other locations while helping to coordinate those logistics across any line of business affected. There are multiple projects being managed simultaneously that involve solving unstructured and undefined problems.
• Candidates with a career in IT PMO or anyone in a primarily analytical line of work aren’t a likely fit for the position.

Pinnacle Group is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to work on a Operations Location Strategy Program, which is one of our client company’s strategic priorities. The goal is the program is to address the fragmented presence in the US by consolidating into a small number of target locations.

• Successful candidates will have experience in working on cross-organizational strategic initiatives to deliver tangible results. Experience in leading management consulting experience, banking industry, and strategic initiatives functions would be a plus. Key skills include strategic problem solving, stakeholder management, change management, project management, communication (written and oral), and teamwork. Advanced Power Point and Excel skills are required.
• The program is led by the Operations Transformation Strategy & Execution (OTSE) Team, responsible for the development and the execution of strategy and plan to achieve the target state in a consistent and cohesive manner across all business units. As part of OTSE, the position is expected to collaborate with partners from LOB Operations teams, Corporate Properties Group, HR, Technology, Risk/Control, and other functional groups.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the execution of various site-specific projects to exit from non-target markets and stand up presence in target markets
• Develop and execute implementation plan of the defined strategy while tracking progress, identifying issues, removing roadblocks, and escalating as necessary
• Develop/update target end state and transition strategy/roadmap

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, Strategic Initiative, or Banking Operations
• In-depth knowledge of Operations functions of a large bank
• Leadership experience in a horizontal organization with the ability to drive changes across vertical organizations in a consistent and well-aligned manner
• Management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm
• Experience in leading cross-organizational strategic initiatives, transformation initiatives, and/or change management initiatives at a large bank

Compensation

• $60/hr - $71/hr
