Job Description

Just in case you haven't heard, sunday is an exciting and thriving FinTech startup that's changing the way payments are made in restaurants across the world. We are saving millions of people minutes at the end of their meal with the simple scan of a QR code. The coolest thing is we are growing quickly and possibly have the perfect position for you.


The position

You will be joining the US Team with the ultimate goal of delivering the best experience to restaurateurs and diners. The work of Operations starts when a restaurant decides to use our checkout solution.

You will report into our co-founder and CEO US, Christine de Wendel, and will manage our team of US Operations Associates and Managers.

The opportunity is based in Atlanta, GA. You will have the opportunity to travel on a monthly basis.


Job tasks

  • Own and drive our Operations KPIs in the US (adoption, active restaurants, restaurant churn)
  • Work closely with the Product Team to improve the diner and restaurant experience
  • Solve issues through processes and have your ideas adopted / implemented globally
  • Hire, train and manage a our excellent Operations team across the US
  • Build a scalable and frictionless restaurant onboarding and account management process


Who we look for and what you’ll need to be successful:

  • And finally drive and passion - the most important requirement, because it’s a big challenge but an exciting one!
  • You are analytical and thrive with abundant data
  • You are hands-on: We have all the tools, but you will have to find solutions and turn them into reality. You should expect (and love) to be in restaurants on a daily basis
  • You have strong project management skills: you are structured, reliable, and communicate efficiently with all stakeholders
  • 5 to 7 years experience in operational roles in restaurants or hospitality or a relevant startup
  • You are a team player with strong team and stakeholder management skills (ambitious and committed, while staying humble and fun at the same time)
