About the Role:
The Market Operations Lead is an important part of the market management team and is responsible for providing analytical support and overseeing operations that enable optimal clinical and financial outcomes. The Market Operations Lead will help translate strategic vision into operational reality and build the operational infrastructure to support the market’s growth and efficiency over time. This is currently a virtual hybrid role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Administrative Oversight
- Hire and on-boarding new hires
- Administration of PTO and payroll systems
- Support management of clinical team in the Atlanta market by providing insights to other managers to optimize overall team performance
- Coordination with all relevant vendors necessary for operations
- Provide direct oversight to several non-clinical members of the team Calendar management for the office, including prep, facilitation, and follow up for recurring team meetings
Operational Implementation and Improvement
- Proactive solicit and problem solve issues faced by the market team
- Escalate issues to GM and other departmental leaders within TailorCare as appropriate
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of daily operations, policies and procedures; identify operational roadblocks and process gaps; and ensure effective roll out and adherence to workflow changes.
- Help develop new processes as appropriate to drive efficiency, optimize relationships with community providers, or implement new partnerships in the market
Metric Tracking and Reporting
- Translate performance metrics into actionable operational recommendations for improvement – partnering and working collaboratively with others across TailorCare
- Own and drive reporting on operational performance metrics for the market including regular review of relevant KPIs, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and synthesis and presentation of results.
- Create metrics that can be used in partnership with market leadership to provide data-driven mentoring / feedback to clinical and administrative staff.
Market Performance
- Collaborate with outreach teams to support engagement and other performance goals
- Collaborate with the local leaders and other departmental leaders at TailorCare to plan and execute initiatives to continuously improve the clinical delivery model
- Act as day-to-day project manager on key market initiatives, managing timelines and coordinating across cross-functional teams to drive outcomes
Market Leadership
- Act as back up to GM/VP as needed for community relationship building and other internal or external-facing responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of driving operational projects from conception to implementation to refinement
- 5+ years of administrative management experience in health care, preferably in a value based care setting
- Analytic and decisive thinker with the ability to prioritize and communicate objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals
- Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field or business administration preferred, MBA/ MHA preferred
- Excellence in organizational and project management with the ability to lead multiple complex projects

- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Calendar; Expert Excel skills preferred
- Hands-on, high-energy, and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent
- Strong collaboration skills and a natural ability to connect with others
