SF New Deal (SFND) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides supportive services and financial opportunities for small businesses in San Francisco.


Our team is growing rapidly to build and deliver innovative and responsive community-centered solutions to some of San Francisco’s most persistent challenges. Since our launch in March 2020, we’ve had significant impact and disbursed over $35 million dollars to more than 660 small businesses citywide.

About the Role

The Partner Success Operations Manager (PSOM) will join the Partner Success team at a key moment in SF New Deal’s organizational evolution. The PSOM will lead the Partner Success team, in thought & in practice, through the daily responsibilities that keep our many distinct programs functioning successfully. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for continuous operational improvement & process localization with consideration to the partners, clients & communities we serve, and is comfortable leading collaborative efforts related to resolving incidents, understanding program-specific trends, and process design & implementation.


This role will function as a strong bridge between our Programs & Partner Success departments, as well as a liaison to the many stakeholders who collaborate alongside SF New Deal to create a diverse and vibrant San Francisco. The Operations Manager will report directly to the Dir. of Partner Success, and work alongside the Program Managers who oversee individual programs within our portfolio.


Reports to - Director of Partner Success

Key Responsibilities


80% Operations

  • Be the primary contact for a dedicated book of business
  • Design & execute, and own an integrated cross-program case management system using current org platforms
  • Develop & continuously improve upon operational policies and relationship management practices across all programs, and encourage better program praxis by applying in-field learnings & observations
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to rapidly operationalize & scale grants administration & permitting centric programs.


20% Department General

  • Collaborate with Program Managers on continuous process improvement and lead implementation across the Partner Success team
  • Provide supplementary Partner Success support to specific programs on an as-needed basis
  • Provide Call Center coverage to relevant language & departmental lines

Qualifications

Approximate Weekly Time Required: 40 hrs/week

Preferred Work Days for this role: Monday - Friday

Compensation and Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Matching 401k, Work from Home Stipend and Monthly Wellness Stipend, Professional Development.

Salary range: $75,000-$88,000


Location: This role is primarily remote/work from home and requires a lot of time on the computer and the phone. Project depending, regular site visits may be required. The ideal candidate is in or near San Francisco.
