Job Summary/Purpose


Responsible for scheduling, assigning, managing, and monitoring construction and service work across the region and network to network as needed.


Job Duties/Responsibilities


Ensure all work meets company standards and in service dates while ensuring that all workmanship complies with Entergy's safety guidelines and practices. Have extensive knowledge of a working distribution system.


Prepare and carry out switching orders for the distribution system. The ability to work closely with DOC/Substation groups on planning of switching orders.


Work with Engineering, Vegetation, DOC and other departments acting as liaison between those departments and networks as necessary to ensure cross functional communication is maintained.


Maintain an open line of communication with Region OCs to provide direction and share best practices in backlog management and scheduling to streamline operations in an effort to minimize response times, reduction in unnecessary truck rolls and reduction in missed commits.


Provide direction to Region OCs in proper ticket creation and as-building jobs.


Help to provide a line of sight into the Regions scheduled EWPs for crew engagements.


Ability to recognize detractors within our work processes, work through solution development and implementation for continuous improvement.


Assume dispatching on a local basis during restoration events to ensure service is restored to all customers in a timely manner. Be available for call-out at all times. Monitor Storm Assist Daily for the Region to ensure emergency and outage tickets are being dispatched in timely manner.


Work emergency or storm restoration in other areas as needed and fill in for other OC’s/Supervisors as needed for a short time in their absence. Lead storm response team in out of town/state events. Work with contract compliance and third party vendors for requests on additional resources and specialty equipment.


Work with external and internal customers.


Review daily outages in Power BI to assist in outage correction for the region.


Minimum Requirements


Minimum experience required of the position


Minimum 8 Years Of Experience In Related Field.
