Position: English Reading/Writing Teacher
We're currently searching for a dedicated English reading or writing teacher to join our team. As a key contributor to our educational approach, you'll integrate highly effective instructional design methods and research-based best practices.
Your Role
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
Designing a well-rounded curriculum tailored to assigned course and grade level.
Following curriculum pacing guides, aligning lesson plans with clear standards and research-based best practices.
Conducting both in-person and remote classes through live video conferencing (Zoom).
Leveraging online teaching tools effectively during classes (PPT, Google Docs, etc.).
Overseeing virtual coursework management via Google Classroom.
Generating trimester progress reports and report cards.
Developing and maintaining student behavioral and discipline policies.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
A Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred).
Preferred minimum of 5 years of English lesson teaching experience.
Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
Requirements
We expect candidates to:
Provide a 5-10 minute teaching demo.
Be proficient in ZOOM and Google Classroom.
Prepare all necessary materials ahead of classes.
Assign and grade homework assignments.
Join classes 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
