Job Opportunity: English Reading and Writing Teacher
Position Overview
We're seeking an enthusiastic English Reading and Writing Teacher to join our team. You'll have the chance to leverage innovative instructional methods and evidence-based practices to shape the educational experience for our students.
Responsibilities
Craft a well-rounded curriculum tailored to your assigned course and grade level.
Align lesson plans with curriculum pacing guides, drawing from established standards and effective instructional design techniques.
Conduct engaging in-person and remote classes through live video conferencing using Zoom.
Utilize a variety of online teaching tools, including Google Docs and PowerPoint, to enhance the learning experience.
Manage virtual coursework seamlessly through Google Classroom.
Provide trimester progress reports and report cards to keep students and parents informed.
Develop and uphold clear student behavioral and discipline policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
Master's Degree (preferred).
5+ years of experience teaching English Lessons (preferred).
Exceptional communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
Requirements
Showcase a 5-10 minute teaching demo.
Proficiency in Zoom and Google Classroom.
Thoroughly prepare all materials before each class.
Assign and evaluate homework assignments.
Join classes 5-10 minutes ahead of schedule to ensure a smooth start.
