About The Role:
The Editorial team provides writing and editing services across Soldbyshepherd. In addition to providing writing support for various projects across the company, this team ensures all published content is of the highest quality and incorporates Soldbyshepherd’s values and messaging priorities.
As a Remote Real Estate Editorial Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our editorial team in creating, editing, and publishing real estate content. You will be working closely with our team of writers and editors to ensure that our content meets high editorial standards and is published on time. You will also be responsible for managing our editorial calendar, researching real estate topics, and assisting in other editorial tasks as needed.
This position has a preference to candidates open to remote word and based in the USA.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist in the creation, editing, and publishing of real estate content, including articles, blog posts, and social media posts
* Manage our editorial calendar and ensure that content is published on schedule
* Conduct research on real estate topics and trends to inform our content
* Assist in the development of new content ideas and strategies
* Collaborate with our team of writers and editors to ensure that content meets our high editorial standards
* Assist in other editorial tasks as needed, such as copyediting, proofreading, and fact-checking
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
* Strong writing and editing skills
* Knowledge of AP Style
* Familiarity with real estate topics and trends
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Excellent organizational skills
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
* Prior experience in a similar role preferred
