Office Manager – Denver & Omaha:
We are looking for a growth-minded Office Manager to join our Global Real Estate team who will be responsible for for managing all aspects of our Denver & Omaha offices. They will work with our Offices Services to drive efficient and effective management of the office footprint e.g., real estate, office expenses, safety and culture – creating a welcoming environment where Convera’s employees can thrive in their work.
We are seeking someone who has a passion for building a new part of the organization reporting into our Office Services Leader –NAMER, which function reports into the Global Head of Procurement & Real Estate. This new function will help drive efficient & effective management of the office footprint e.g., real estate, office expenses, safety and culture – creating a welcoming environment where Convera’s employees can thrive in their work.
What we are looking for & ideal candidate:
We are looking for an experienced professional in Office Management. The ideal candidate has strong experience in all capabilities relating to all office functions and facilities management and should be excited to be part of building a new Office Services function.
In your role as Office Manager – you will:
  • Works with your Lead Manager and Site Leader to build employee engagement, culture and collaboration in the Office. Create communications, plan and implement site events for executive events or meetings
  • When setting up a new site / reducing a site or demising a site – your responsible to work with the Global Real Estate Lead on leases, construction, moving companies and the Real Estate technology team to ensure it leads to successful completion.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, follow all EHS standards and protocols.Ensure employees are up to date and trained in all areas of a safety.This will include working with your building management on emergency procedures and reporting any updates to the internal EHS team.Coordinate safety programs for your site in various emergency scenarios.
  • Collect, document and control budgets, while looking for ways to reduce office expenses over time.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to onboard or offboard employees.Follow orientation procedures for new joiners.This can include applications training, desk and badge assignment.
  • Promote a positive culture and create a welcoming environment where Convera employees can thrive and be productive.
  • Ensure regular maintenance of equipment & internal systems (e.g., IDF UPS Equipment) including working with the local building managers / landlords and engineers to ensure the office is properly functioning and maintained.
A successful Office Manager - should have:
  • Excellent planning and organization skills including time management and prioritization
  • Candidates will typically have 5+ years experience in site management, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and suppliers, monitoring budgets and ensuring value for money
  • Can-do attitude, motivated to deliver excellence and go above and beyond
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal, able to exercise good judgement and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Zoom, Teams and collaborative platforms. Knowledge in IT Network terminology and office infrastructure. CRE terminology and management cost controls.Understands Local and State code requirements for implementation.
Location:
  • 4 Days a week and onsite in Denver tech center location.
  • Candidate must be based Denver, Colorado.
