Job Summary: General Office Administrator is responsible for performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties for the Human Resources Department and the Executive Leadership Team.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in supporting executive leadership team with expense reports and meeting scheduling
- Review and track deliveries for any orders
- Work with accounting for implementation of potential vendors
- Requesting proposals and negotiate contracts and payment terms
- Input to HRIS new hire data and any personnel changes. Review input and error reports for completeness and accuracy, making corrections as necessary.
- Create annual, quarterly, and monthly expense reports
- Sourcing cost-effective materials, goods, products, and services
- Develop and maintain employee communications, employee boards, compliance notices, etc.
- Maintain all department records in an orderly, secure and confidential manner.
- Edit and type letters, reports, notices, etc.
- Distributing checks to vendors in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as necessary or appropriate to the position.
- Ensure that invoices received are sent to accounting for payment processing.
- Monitor inventory stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Order and maintain stationery supplies for the Human Resources department and Executive team.
- Prepare check requests for subscriptions, seminars, periodicals, memberships, etc., code invoices for blanket purchase orders.
- Receive and screen telephone calls, relay messages and furnish information wherever possible.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with no experience (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of professional work experience).
- Customer service orientation.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Experience using HRIS systems preferred.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong follow-through skills.
- At least 1 additional year of related experience; manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Team Oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
