Nursing Home Patient Care

Full-Time professional, driven, and highly motivated insurance agent to travel to our contracted nursing home facilities to build the patient enrollee census. The Nursing Home Patient Care Advocate will be the main contact with the patient and/or responsible party ensuring timely enrollment and ensure an excellent patient experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITILES & ACCOUNTABILITY

• Submit daily activity via the company designated CRM
• Work in conjunction with the Nursing Home Manager, Operations and Quality Assurance to develop enrollment strategies and to overcome obstacles.
• Submit all face sheets and applications to the administrative team at the home office in Sugar Land, TX within 24 hours of receipt of face sheets and applications
• Act as main point of contact for patient enrollment activities within newly contracted and existing nursing facilities in the assigned region
• Comply with the hiring company’s employee handbook guidelines
• Visit contracted nursing home facilities’ developing relationships the Social Worker, Business Office Manager, and Administrator on a regular basis to determine new residents needing an initial dental assessment ultimately to secure new patient enrollee applications
• Attend initial clinical dental assessment meeting with patient, self-signors and/or family members/responsible parties to discuss the nursing home product ultimately to enroll patients
• Work in conjunction with the Nursing Home Account Representative for the assigned region to establish a relationship with the Social Worker, Business Office Manager, and Administrator of all nursing home facilities within the assigned region
• Conduct presentation meetings with family members at current nursing home facilities, responsible party’s home, or at other venues of choice as needed to present nursing home dental program ultimately to enroll the patient.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality of resident records in accordance with HIPAA

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The position requires a professional, self-motivated, and driven employee. The candidate should also possess excellent sales and communication skills. Must be proficient with a computer (including working knowledge of MicrosoftOffice), CRM system, attentive to details, professional appearance and attitude, reliable, and prompt.

• Afterhours and weekend work required when necessary
• Proven successful sales experience is required in the insurance industry
• Current Texas Life & Health Insurance license is required
• Valid driver’s license is required
