The Opportunity


Are you a self-starter with strong communication skills, who enjoys working in a team environment with a passion for learning? Consider joining our team as a New Business Support Operations Associate. Reporting to the Manager, New Business Support; the Operations Associate is responsible for providing excellent service, support, and administrative tasks with the purpose of delivering an exceptional client experience. The Operations Associate will use general knowledge and skills obtained through training to facilitate the money movement of client funds.


Responsibilities


  • Work directly with financial intermediaries to ultimately channel assets into John Hancock.
  • Respond to routine inquiries from various operation teams both internal and external.
  • Communicate with Third Party Administrators and Plan Sponsors to facilitate rollover process.
  • Responsible for responding to emails and other participant inquiry in a timely manner.
  • Proactively share knowledge to ensure team objectives are met
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Complete daily and weekly operational activities while following department policies and procedures.
  • Oversee data integrity requirements.
  • Responsible for following up on participant rollovers in a timely manner.

Salary & Benefits


The annual base salary for this role is listed below.


Primary Location


Boston, Massachusetts


Salary range is expected to be between


$36,675.00 USD - $61,125.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
