What You Will Bring to Circuit Clinical:

As our Network Security Engineer you will be responsible for supporting our efforts towards SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA, and PHI compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing security measures to protect our network infrastructure and ensuring that these measures comply with industry standards and regulations. The Network Security Engineer will also be responsible for investigating and responding to security incidents and breaches in accordance with these compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance
• Conduct security assessments of network infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
• Stay up-to-date with emerging network security technologies and industry trends
• Provide support for compliance audits by internal and external auditors
• Provide support for compliance audits by internal and external auditors
• Monitor network traffic for potential security threats and investigate incidents and breaches
• Collaborate with the Director of Technology to develop mitigation strategies for identified security vulnerabilities
• Design and implement network security policies, procedures, and standards to comply with SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA, and PHI requirements
• Design and implement firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies to meet compliance requirements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA, and PHI

Requirements:

• Fortinet and Azure experience
• At least 5 years of experience in network security or a related field
• Experience designing and implementing network security measures to meet compliance requirements
• Strong knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA, and PHI requirements
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies
• Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CCNA are highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

Location: This position is ideally located in Buffalo, NY, but may be remote
