Job Description
Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.
Within Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure, the Spares Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring that the right spare parts, are in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost in support of global capacity requirements. Microsoft has an exciting opportunity on the Spares Supply Chain team for a Network Program Manager to manage our Network Spares Supply Chain. The Spares Supply Chain is transforming the cloud service parts supply chain to enable increased customer focus, quality, and efficiency.  This position is vital for supporting existing operational processes and future system changes as part of the journey to a world-class supply-chain and maintenance repairs and operations organization. 
Responsibilities
  • Acts as the single point of contact for datacenter stakeholders world-wide for the Network spares space, sharing the voice of the customer back into the Spares Supply Chain from an improvement and priority standpoint
  • Continually drive a broad education of Network spares processes across the Engineering Groups and datacenter stakeholder group to ensure clarity on processes and roles and responsibilities
  • Leveraging an understanding of internal customer roadmaps, feedback, business reviews, and analytics, drive clarity on key datacenter pain points and actions needed to ensure world-class spares availability and service
  • Own and drive the improvement roadmap for Network spares to include business requirements and justification for tools and automation
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
  • OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Spares and / or Fulfillment processes, preferably in the high-tech industry
  • Proficiency in data analytics to include Excel, Power BI, etc.
  • Master’s degree in Ops/Industrial /Manufacturing Engineering or Business
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
