Nationwide Search: Family In Chester, Va Seeks Household Manager/Nanny For Their Twin Girls

Overview:
CHESTER, VA (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES)-Fun, loving parents outside of Richmond, VA seek a FULL-TIME nanny for their 4-year-old twin girls. Hours are typically from 2-9pm Monday-Friday and alternate Saturdays between 11am-7pm. Friday will be OFF during weeks when working on Saturday. They are open to providing relocation assistance and housing in a nearby furnished apartment.
The girls are in daycare from 8:30-5:30 Monday-Friday. This role will primarily involve family assistance/household management while the children are in school. The childcare focus will take place between 5:30-9pm. Parents will primarily take care of school pick-ups and drop-off, however, the nanny may be asked to handle these tasks in the future, so a valid DL and clean driving record are required. A nanny car is provided while on the job, however, you must have your own vehicle for personal use and for getting to and from work. During the time the girls are in school, the nanny will help with various tasks around the house such as: Engagement in activities; Washing dishes; Light cooking; Lunch and snack prep; Helping with nighttime routine (washing up/brushing teeth/ reading); Cleaning/ organizing play and room areas; Laundry for children; Travel with family; Grocery shopping; Running errands; Light housekeeping (loading/unloading dishwasher, etc.);Activity planning; Management of girls’ schedules. Other tasks as assigned and agreed upon. They have a bimonthly cleaning service. They travel as a family annually in June and take several domestic trips throughout the year and would love for their nanny to join! Travel is primarily domestic and the nanny will be given time off while traveling.
There are nanny cameras and a miniature schnauzer in the home (must love dogs!). They seek a dedicated, organized, committed professional who loves what they do and is looking to make a long-term commitment. Someone who has good listening and communication skills, is detail-oriented, takes initiative and is observant. Someone who can adapt to the family, anticipates needs before they arise, and always be two steps ahead! Must have reliable transportation, be willing to sign an NDA and complete a state and federal background check.
Pay is $25-30/hour. Benefits include bonuses, as well as paid vacation, paid sick days and health insurance. Start date is ASAP!
Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
