· Manage all fringe benefits, deductions, garnishments, and leave pay

· Solid technical skills in payroll area – compensation, withholdings, benefits, garnishments, regulatory compliance, internal controls

· Partner with employees and managers on prompt and accurate time and attendance submission and documentation

· Calculate payments for employer’s social security, unemployment, worker’s compensation, and benefit coverage.

· 3 plus years’ payroll experience with increasing responsibility and leadership ability

· Responsible for full life-cycle payroll processing: semimonthly on cycle and off cycle adjustments

2+ years’ experience in a grant management capacity, pre and post award experience preferred

Track cash forecasts and provide reports to senior management

Knowledge of non-profit financial statement preparation and reporting strongly desired

Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate financial information to all levels

Assist in the preparation of the budgets

Perform variance analysis budget vs actual and develop commentaries to explain material differences

· Perform variance analysis and explain material differences to management

· Prepare internal management reports for senior management

· Oversee the general ledger and its activity for accuracy and completeness

· Act as a layer of review related to the reconciliation of the general ledger accounts

· Gather all the necessary information for board package

· Train and develop staff

· Continue to foster good working relationships with peers and Program Managers.

· Meets monthly/quarterly billing deadlines to ensure maximum reimbursements from granting agencies.

· Maintains final budget amendment deadlines and meets with directors as necessary to accomplish this task.

· Update the monthly listing of “Schedule of Grants Receivable” showing payment status.

· Closely review all expenses, including personal, taxes, insurance, medical, education, and mortgage payments.

· Manage and review all bank account and credit card activity for family members.

· At least 5 years of experience working at a high level in a Family Office

· Resolve any owner / family inquires, issues, and special requests quickly and accurately

· Direct the accounting and reporting for all personal transactions.

· Maintain records and accounting for residences, properties, art collections, vehicles, and other personal assets.

· Perform variance analysis and explain material differences to management

· Prepare internal management reports for senior management

· Oversee the general ledger and its activity for accuracy and completeness

· Act as a layer of review related to the reconciliation of the general ledger accounts

· Gather all the necessary information for board package

· Train and develop staff
