Job Description

Momentum Advisory Collective (M.A.C.) seeks an experienced case manager to serve as the National Program Coordinator, working with youth and alumni connected to Café Momentum locations throughout the country and leading the Momentum Ambassador program. The Momentum Ambassador program is a paid program that creates a path for our youth that have completed the program to continue their personal and professional development while building confidence in themselves and their story. Through sharing their experiences and opinions, the youth inform Momentum programming, expansion and messaging while also improving the dialog between our organization and its interns, volunteers and the public. As mentors, Ambassadors help future interns accomplish their personal goals while concurrently experiencing their own personal growth. As spokespeople, our Ambassadors strengthen their self-confidence, public speaking and conversation skills – while inspiring change to our country’s juvenile justice system.

Through partnership-building and direct service, the goal of the National Program Coordinator is to build and maintain an innovative, safe and effective system for maintaining relationships with stakeholders of the Momentum Ambassadors program. Reporting into Momentum’s Director of Programs and working closely with the national marketing team, the National Program Coordinator is responsible for providing programming and skills training for youth in the Ambassador program and for supporting engaged youth in expansion markets with locating and scheduling wraparound services. The National Program Coordinator must be highly organized, empathetic, compassionate and eager to help youth in a way that aligns with Momentum Advisory Collective’s (M.A.C.) core values, mission and vision.

The ideal candidate is a compelling advocate who is motivated by community, with an understanding of the importance of innovation in driving lasting change. They speak candidly, work collaboratively and focus on long-term relevance and above all else, sustainable and significant impact for youth.

        About Momentum Advisory Collective //

We envision a country where the basic and socioemotional needs of our youth are met; a country that understands that justice-involved youth often lack resources, have experienced trauma and require holistic support; a country whose communities come together to support this vision. We believe that this can be a reality for young people nationwide.

We are building clear pathways out of incarceration so today’s justice-involved youth have access to resources, opportunity and trauma-informed support such that they and their future generations can thrive, not just survive.

Momentum Advisory Collective (M.A.C.) is a 501(c)3 organization that got its start with Café Momentum, a nonprofit restaurant and culinary training facility in Dallas, Texas, that has successfully reduced recidivism and increased employability with its programs.

M.A.C. is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit, and business need. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
