Your Role


As an ALLDATA National Account Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop new, and grow existing partnerships with the industry’s largest mechanical and collision chain operators. Each partnership, whether new or existing, requires ongoing business needs analysis, and recommendations on an ALLDATA solutions package designed to improve the customer’s financial performance.


What You’ll Do


The ALLDATA National Account Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all necessary strategic sales activities for the success of their assigned geography (multiple states and/or Canadian provinces), while working collaboratively with internal account management, product development, and marketing teams. National Account Managers with consistently strong sales performance have high earning potential.


Position Summary


The successful candidate will partner with ALLDATA and AutoZone sales teams to grow our business in the automotive repair and related market, through a suite of software products. This involves managing C-suite relationships, product plans, partnership programs, and direct sales.


Position Responsibilities
  • National Accounts
  • Document and relay feedback from the industry
  • Integration Partners
  • Assist in development and integration of indirect sales programs to National Accounts
  • Provide input on development of new products and/or enhancements to the existing software products that may be viable to the automotive industry
  • Execute the strategic plan and tactics for the approved opportunities
  • Discover and communicate alliance opportunities within the industry
  • Direct, solution-selling to National Account partners and prospective National Account partners, as well as third party API prospects
  • Develop new, and maintain existing relationships and sales to:
  • Coordinate the execution of corresponding agreements with accounts and our legal department
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain database of existing customers and new sales prospects, as well as partners/distributors, using Microsoft Dynamics
  • Attend Trade and Industry functions to further expand sales and brand awareness in the industry
  • Track and utilize contact reports based in Microsoft Dynamics CRM application
  • Coordination of contracts, leads, and sales (clerical)


Position Requirements


  • Ability to perform basic financial analysis
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Multi-task, team-orientated, attention to detail
  • Up to 75% travel required
  • Proof reading skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Self-starter and manage time wisely
  • Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Organizing and planning
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • 2-5 years of National Account sales experience, preferably for technology-based products
