As a key player on our top-producing team, you'll be responsible for guiding mortgage applications from start to finish, ensuring a seamless "contract to close" phase. Your keen eye for detail and exceptional customer service skills will be invaluable in this role, as you diligently gather information, address inquiries, and handle any last-minute adjustments, ensuring a smooth ride to the finish line.
We're seeking candidates with a strong ability to calculate various income types and thrive in a collaborative team environment. You'll have the autonomy to meet multiple deadlines, free from micromanagement, and your contributions will play a vital role in our shared success.
Responsibilities
You'll be the go-to point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan process, providing top-notch communication and support from contract to closing.
Prepare comprehensive loan packages for submission to the lender's underwriting department, and ensure approvals are obtained promptly. If any hurdles arise, you'll work closely with underwriters and borrowers to satisfy all conditions.
Keep the loan pipeline flowing efficiently and in compliance with regulations, making sure every step is thoroughly documented in the system, from origination to closing.
Act as a liaison between loan officers, applicants, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters, streamlining the process and facilitating swift loan approvals.
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Processor, LOA, Loan Partner, Loan Officer, and/or Underwriter will make you an ideal fit for this role.
You should possess a current working knowledge of mortgage loan products such as FHA, VA, CONV, and USDA, along with a deep understanding of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation.
Credit reports, income analysis, and loan structuring are all within your wheelhouse.
Your excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills will be instrumental in building strong relationships with our valued clients.
