We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fill an open Loan Processor role within our rapidly growing Agricultural Finance debt business. COMMERCIAL LENDING EXPERIENCE IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED!
This position will be located in a PGIM office (either Lisle, IL or Orlando, FL) and will report directly to the Operations Manager based in Lisle, IL. The Loan Processor is responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate handling of loan transactions per established department and PGIM Real Estate’s guidelines as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements. This individual must be proactive, able to prioritize and balance multiple transactions, and have a learning and growth mindset.
Job duties will include but may not be limited to
  • Transmits loan information and documentation to servicing, asset management, and other departments as needed.
  • Use of proprietary models and loan templates via both Microsoft Office products and proprietary systems.
  • Coordinate proper handling of confidentiality agreements, loan applications, and other documentation via DocuSign and other means to ensure compliance with all regulatory (e.g., privacy, material non-public information, etc.) and procedural requirements.
  • Coordinates receipt of fees and initial business due diligence items from borrowers and communicates the handoff to the Loan Closer.
  • Assist the senior Loan Processors, Operations Manager, and others on special projects and team initiatives as requested, such as reporting, annual procedural updates, etc.
  • Interfaces with internal and external parties, including loan originator, analyst, closer, borrower, counsel, engineer, and other personnel proactively to ensure loan transactions are processed timely.
  • Performs data entry and quality control checks to ensure data integrity to meet strict delivery deadlines.
  • Prepares and reviews loan authorization packages for submission to underwriters and management.
  • Reviews preliminary drafts as needed to verify accuracy and ensures final documents uploaded properly into proprietary document exchange and management systems.
  • Some administrative duties may be required.
Qualifications
  • Innovative; adaptable to change; learning and growth mindset.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Commercial lending experience. COMMERCIAL LENDING EXPERIENCE IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED!
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and highly-organized with exceptional time management skills; must be able to prioritize workload and perform accurately and by deadlines.
  • Experience in agriculture and/or timber sectors preferred but not required.
  • Notary Public is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal/customer service skills are essential with the ability to create/build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (including working knowledge of formulas and pivot tables) and Word (including working knowledge of references and review functions); expertise in Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint a plus. Ability to work with Power BI a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, accounting or related fields a plus.
  • Able to travel occasionally (generally once a year or less, e.g., conferences, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and concisely based on needs of the audience.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under challenging time frames.
